Dr. Raju Sudhakar

Sr. Data Scientist, Finance & Economics

Sudhakar Raju holds a primary appointment as Hall Chair in Finance & Data Analytics at Rockhurst University (Kansas City, MO) and a secondary appointment at Harvard University (Cambridge, MA). For the past seven years he taught graduate courses in Quantitative Methods at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government. He has a Ph.D. in Economics & Finance from Northern Illinois University and has a Master's in Public Administration (MPA) from Harvard University. Sudhakar has served as a consultant to various organizations including the World Bank, UNDP, Central Banks, Stock Exchanges, Sovereign Wealth Funds, Kuwait Investment Authority, Qatar Government, etc. Sudhakar received the FRM (Financial Risk Manager) designation in 2003. He is a recipient of the Missouri Governor’s Award for Excellence in Teaching as well as the Harvard Kennedy School (HKS) Dean's Teaching Excellence Award. He has published numerous papers on areas ranging from portfolio management, investing, economic policy, hedging, derivatives and quantitative modeling.
