TeraCrunch, LLC is a fast-growing Big Data Predictive Analytics startup located in the Kansas City Metro area working with many of the premier corporations in the midwest region. We’re looking for technically-savvy, self-motivated individuals who can function will in a fluid, fast-paced environment.

As a Data Architect & Database Programmer, the individual will work with our experienced data science team to bring big data analytics products to our clients. As a member of our startup team, the individual will have to be flexible and wear many technical hats, but primary responsibilities include:

Working with our data science team to design and implement a variety of database technologies: SQL (postgres, MySQL), NoSQL (Hadoop, Mahout,

Cassandra, MongoDB, Google BigQuery), graph (Neo4j) and others

Managing our data warehouse cloud infrastructure and processes

Data transformation and data cleansing

Building and working with APIs

Scripting in two or more of PHP, Python, Java and R

Experience, Education & Skills:

3-5 years database and data architecture experience and/or a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

Experience with SQL, NoSQL and graph databases

Writing and maintaining database-related code

Our preference is for candidates in the Kansas City Area, or who are willing to relocate. However, we’re willing to explore remote options with the right candidate.
